Stroke and colour blocking.

Experimenting with relationship to the edge and opacity.

I created this image from a photo I took whilst having a nosebleed. I had the idea of filling the sink with some water and letting blood drip into it. It sounds strange but it actually created an interesting effect, the blood floated through the water to create a swirling pattern. I tried to give the image a more illustrated style by outlining the main forms with a thick black line using Photoshop.
