I changed this photo by using hue, saturation and opacity to create a more faded look and a real 90s feel.

I found the first picture whilst 'surfing the net'. Looking into it I've found it's artwork for the single Hold On by Doc Daneeka. Not my music taste at all but I like these pictures so who cares.

I did this a while ago, just messing around manipulating images in photoshop.

The use of glitter and paint on the face creates a really interesting aesthetic. The paint brush strokes remind me of old cracked paint. The face looks distressed and unfinished, with shapes and patterns, created by the glitter and paint, adding contrast to the texture of the skin. I'm thinking of making a design taking inspiration from this.
